The Catholic Diocese of Malindi, established in the year 2000, serves a vast area along Kenya’s north coast — from Masangoni to Lamu. The Diocese is dedicated to evangelization, family development, and social transformation through education, community empowerment, and media outreach, including initiatives like Radio Bayana and various community-based programs.

1. Pastoral Centre Manager
- Oversee the daily operations of the Pastoral Centre, including facility management, staff supervision, scheduling of activities, and financial oversight. Ensure the centre supports the pastoral mission and community programs of the Diocese.
- The candidate should have at least a Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in hospitality, catering, or operations management
2. Receptionist
- Serve as the first point of contact at the Pastoral Centre and take the lead in the day-to-day running of the front desk. Handle phone calls, visitors, keep a record of office inventory and housekeeping accessories, take the lead in client invoicing and receipting, correspondence, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
- Minimum of certificate in front office management
- 2 years experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
3. Security Guard
- Taking the lead in the safety, security, and vigilance of the premises. Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of visitors and staff, conduct surveillance, and conduct regular patrols to monitor entrances, reporting any suspicious activity.
- Completed KCSE
- A minimum of One year proven experience in a security role
- Upto date Certificate of good conduct
4. School Bus Driver
- Safely transport students and staff to and from school or official functions. Maintain the bus in good working condition and comply with all traffic and safety regulations.
- At least a craftsman or artisan certificate in a motor vehicle-related course
- Must have a Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must possess an NTSA PSV, ABCE -Class driving license for more than 2 years
- A recent certificate of good conduct
- previous experience as a bus driver, especially with school transport
5. Gardener / Groundsman
- Maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the compound, gardens, and outdoor areas. Responsible for landscaping, pruning, and general grounds maintenance.
- Having completed KCSE
- Proven experience in gardening
- physical fit
6. Sales & Marketing Officer
- Will be responsible for planning, executing and monitoring integrated marketing activities. Develop marketing strategies to enhance visibility and community engagement.
- Bachelors degree/Diploma in marketing, communication, business or related field
- 2-3 years experience in marketing, preferrable in hospitality or student enrollment
- proven track record in digital marketing and campaign management
7. Construction Manager
- The role involves daily oversight of project activities, ensuring tasks are well planned, executed efficiently and meet quality requirements. Oversee contractors, ensure quality work, control costs, and monitor progress to meet timelines and standards.
- Diploma/Degree in Construction Management.
- 4–5 years’ supervisory experience in a construction setting
8. Tutor / Matron
- Provide academic and personal support to children not atending school outside the institution. TSC-registered teacher,
- Posees a Diploma, A degree is an added advantage,
- 3+ years’ experience.
9. Tuktuk Driver / Office Messenger / Grounds Maintenance
- Operate the tuktuk for errands and official deliveries, maintain the vehicle, assist with office correspondence, and support light maintenance or grounds duties as required.
- Valid driving license - Class A3 for Tuktuk/Motorbike with atleast 2 years experience
- Completed KCSE
10. Counsellor
- Offer counseling to children and families, compile progress reports.
- Degree in Counselling Psychology and registered with the Kenya Counselling Psychological Association (KCPA).
11. Household Economic Strengthening Facilitator
- Support community members, especially vulnerable families, in improving their livelihoods through training, mentorship, and income-generating initiatives.
- Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Social Sciences or a related field, 2–3 years’ experience in project implementation.
12. Junior School Teacher
- Deliver engaging lessons, following the CBC curriculum. Foster academic excellence, and discipline
- TSC Compliant
- Degree/Diploma in Secondary education or P1 Certificate holder with CBC Training
- Experience of not less than one year in (CRE, Social Studies, Creative Arts, Kiswahili)
13. School Secretary
- Manage school records, handle communication, assist in scheduling, and provide administrative support to teachers and the school head. Maintain confidentiality and organization in all operations.
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies or Business Management or equivalent studies
- 2+ years’ experience as a secretary in a school.
