Job Description

Equity Afya a leading integrated healthcare network with over 140 medical centres across Kenya and the DRC, is seeking to recruit a qualified Clinical Officer to be based at Bamburi EQA.

1. Position: Clinical Officer

• The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, managing common medical and surgical conditions, providing preventive healthcare, participating in public health initiatives, and ensuring compliance with medical and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
• Registered with the Clinical Officers Council with a valid practicing license
• At least 1 year post-internship experience in a public or private hospital
• Experience working in a busy health facility
• Knowledge of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) management
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
