The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) is a membership-based pan-African Non-Governmental Organisation that operates through 34 National Chapters in sub-Saharan Africa to promote girls’ and women’s education.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Community Development Studies or a related Social Science discipline
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct (issued within the last 6 months)
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience, preferably in an NGO setting
- Good experience and knowledge of Child and Youth Safeguarding guidelines
- Proven ability to conceptualize, innovate and manage programs
- Proven ability to cultivate long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with local communities, key state departments, CSOs and corporate organizations
- Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and multi-task
- Enthusiastic, connects well with people of all backgrounds, and able to inspire and motivate
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and representation skills
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good organizational, analytical and programmatic reporting skills
- Strong organizational, planning, prioritization and execution skills, with the ability to take accountability for results and achievement of objectives
- Enthusiastic, decisive, pragmatic and dynamic hands-on individual with a sense of urgency, attention to detail and thoroughness
- Note: For Kilifi Counties, females and knowledge of the local dialect are an added advantage.
