Job Description

  1. Driver II – Grade 3

  3. Positions: 3

Requirements
  • Minimum KCSE mean grade of D (Plain) or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of accident-free driving experience
  • Valid driving license
  • Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines

Professional Qualifications
  • First Aid Certificate from a recognized institution
  • Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Driver refresher course certificate
  • Valid driving license (Classes A, B, C1, C, D1, D2, D3, G)
  • Occupational Trade Test Grade III
  • PSV endorsement by NTSA

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive university vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Operate university buses
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and report faults
  • Ensure timely servicing and maintenance
  • Maintain vehicle work tickets and records
  • Ensure safety of passengers, goods, and vehicles
  • Comply with traffic laws and health & safety standards
