Requirements
- Minimum KCSE mean grade of D (Plain) or equivalent
- At least 3 years of accident-free driving experience
- Valid driving license
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
Professional Qualifications
- First Aid Certificate from a recognized institution
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- Driver refresher course certificate
- Valid driving license (Classes A, B, C1, C, D1, D2, D3, G)
- Occupational Trade Test Grade III
- PSV endorsement by NTSA
Key Responsibilities
- Drive university vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operate university buses
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report faults
- Ensure timely servicing and maintenance
- Maintain vehicle work tickets and records
- Ensure safety of passengers, goods, and vehicles
- Comply with traffic laws and health & safety standards
