About the Role: Field Credit Collections Associate

• The role supports credit management by collecting outstanding customer payments, negotiating repayment plans, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with credit policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to collect payments and resolve credit issues
• Negotiate repayment terms and follow up on payment commitments
• Educate customers on credit obligations and timely repayment
• Maintain accurate records and reports on collection activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes
• Escalate high-risk or delinquent accounts when necessary

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in credit collection or similar role
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with mobile reporting tools
• Knowledge of Kenyan credit collection regulations
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
• Fluency in English and Swahili
