Job Description

North Coast MTC, a reputable medical training institution located in Bomani, Kikambala – Kilifi County, is seeking to recruit a qualified and dedicated ICT Officer to support and strengthen its ICT systems and digital operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Manage ICT assets, servers, computers, and system upgrades.
  • Provide technical support to staff and students.
  • Maintain ICT documentation, software licenses, and operational procedures.
  • Support e-learning systems (LMS) and school management systems (ERP).
  • Implement data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
  • Train users on proper and secure ICT usage.
  • Manage the institution’s website and digital platforms.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar ICT role.
  • Strong networking background and hands-on experience with Huawei, Cisco, MikroTik, or related hardware.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity, network security, and data protection.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Added Advantage
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA, or equivalent.
