Equity Afya is a sustainable and integrated healthcare network providing quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare through a franchise model. With over 140 medical centres across Kenya and the DRC, the organization is seeking to recruit a Medical Officer to be based in Kilifi.

1. Position: Medical Officer

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB/MBBS) from a recognized university
• Registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
• At least 1 year of internship experience in a public or private hospital
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting procedures
• Proficiency in computer applications and Health Management Information Systems (HMIS)
• Leadership experience

Desirable Competencies

• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
• Knowledge of Kenyan health regulations and healthcare schemes
• Good report writing skills
• Experience working in both public and private healthcare sectors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
