Ophthalmic Clinical Officer (OCO)
Lions Medical Centre
Job Description
In 1984, the Lions Club of Mombasa Pwani recognised a critical need: thousands of people on the Kenyan Coast lacked access to affordable eye care. Children were struggling in school, and families were losing breadwinners to preventable vision loss. In response, they established a small eye clinic guided by the Lions motto — "We Serve." Today, that clinic has grown into a multi-specialty hospital that has screened over 500,000 patients and performed thousands of sight-restoring surgeries. We are driven by purpose, not profit. Every visit supports free surgeries and medical camps for those who cannot afford treatment.
