Pharmacist

• To ensure safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medicines, provide pharmaceutical care, and support safe medication use in line with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Provide patient counselling on proper medication use.
• Ensure safe storage, handling, and management of medicines.
• Maintain proper inventory control and monitor stock levels/expiry.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
• Support doctors and nurses with drug information and advice.
• Maintain accurate dispensing and pharmacy records.
• Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

• Accurate and timely dispensing of medicines.
• Compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.
• Effective stock and inventory management.
• Patient safety and satisfaction.
• Proper documentation and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm).
• Registered with Pharmacy and Poisons Board with a valid practicing license.
• 3+ years’ experience in hospital/clinical pharmacy preferred.
