Position Summary
- The Relationship Officer will manage and nurture relationships with new and existing members to drive growth in recruitment, retention, and product adoption. This role acts as the primary point of contact between the Sacco and its members.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Engagement: Build long-term relationships through regular communication and excellent service.
- Regional Sales: Deliver and achieve assigned regional targets in coordination with Regional Sales Agents.
- Recruitment & Retention: Actively recruit new members and implement satisfaction initiatives to ensure retention.
- Product Promotion: Drive the uptake of Sacco products and services through cross-selling.
- Outreach: Participate in sales activations, marketing events, and outreach programs to increase deposits and loan uptake.
- Education: Conduct workshops and presentations to inform members about Sacco offerings.
- Supervision: Mentor and supervise Regional Sales Agents.
- Financial Advisory: Provide advisory services to align member goals with Sacco solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all interactions comply with KYC, AML, and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Co-operative Management, or Business Administration.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in customer relationship management or sales, preferably in the financial/cooperative sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and CRM systems.
- Knowledge: Understanding of SACCO operations and regulations is an added advantage.
