Senior Executive Brand Manager – Hair Category

Pwani is seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Executive Brand Manager to lead the brand strategy for our Hair Category. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing all brand initiatives to ensure growth, innovation, and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities

• Brand Strategy: Develop and execute the overall brand strategy for the Hair Category in alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Marketing Mix: Lead and manage all aspects of the marketing mix — product, pricing, packaging, placement, and promotion.
• Execution: Ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence across all consumer touchpoints.
• Research & Insights: Conduct consumer and market research to inform brand strategy, identify trends, and uncover growth opportunities.
• Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors, analyze market shifts, and recommend strategies for differentiation and innovation.
• Agency Management: Oversee creative development, media planning, and coordination with external agencies and partners.
• Performance Management: Track and evaluate brand performance using KPIs and analytics, providing actionable insights to optimize outcomes.
• Innovation & Differentiation: Continuously explore new opportunities and ideas to drive category innovation and maintain market competitiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in brand management, with at least 3 years in the haircare or beauty industry.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and apply analytical insights effectively.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
