Job Description

North Coast Beach Hotel (NCBH) is set in the serene Kikambala Beach, Kilifi County, off the Mombasa-Malindi Highway. North Coast Beach Hotel has a perfect setting for Conferencing, Business meetings and Leisure travel. North Coast Beach Hotel (NCBH) is currently Owned and Managed by Kenyatta University and aims at becoming a center of excellence in the provision of up-market hospitality services and facilities. We are currently hiring for the following posions:
  1. PERSONNEL/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
  2. FRONT OFFICE CASHIER
  3. HOUSEKEEPING FLOOR SUPERVISOR
  4. LAUNDRY MACHINE OPERATOR
  5. LAUNDRY ATTENDANT
  6. PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT
  7. CHEF DE PARTIE

Personnel / Administrative Assistant
  • Responsible for providing administrative and HR support, coordinating staff activities, managing recruitment and onboarding, handling employee relations, and ensuring quality guest service.
  • Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field, with at least 2 years’ experience in hotel administration or HR. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills required.

Front Office Cashier
  • Responsible for guest billing, handling payments, maintaining financial records, and ensuring smooth guest transactions.
  • Requirements: Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Hospitality or related field. CPA II is an added advantage. Minimum 2 years’ experience and knowledge of Opera or Fidelio Suite 8.

Housekeeping Floor Supervisor
  • Oversee housekeeping staff, ensure cleanliness standards, manage supplies, and ensure guest satisfaction on assigned hotel floors.
  • Requirements: Diploma in Housekeeping or Hospitality Management with at least 2 years’ supervisory experience in a 3–5 star hotel. Knowledge of Opera or Oracle Hospitality Suite 8 is an advantage.

Laundry Machine Operator
  • Responsible for operating laundry equipment, cleaning hotel linen and guest clothing, maintaining laundry machines, and ensuring quality standards.
  • Requirements: Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality with at least 2 years’ experience in a busy laundry environment.

Laundry Attendant
  • Responsible for washing, sorting, folding, and maintaining hotel linen, uniforms, and guest clothing while ensuring high cleanliness standards.
  • Requirements: Certificate/Diploma in Housekeeping with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Public Area Attendant
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in hotel public areas such as lobbies, corridors, and restrooms while assisting guests when necessary.
  • Requirements: Certificate/Diploma in Housekeeping with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Chef de Partie
  • Responsible for managing a kitchen section, preparing high-quality dishes, supervising junior staff, and maintaining food safety standards.
  • Requirements: Diploma/Certificate in Food Production or Hospitality with at least 2 years’ experience in a 3–5 star hotel kitchen.

Terms of Service:
  • Successful candidates will receive a basic salary and house allowance.
