Position: Teacher – Kiswahili, Mathematics and CRE
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the school’s vision and mission.
• Collaboratively develop unit plans and lesson plans for the curriculum.
• Ensure learners acquire strong knowledge and skills, make consistent progress, achieve targets, and are prepared for the next stage of learning.
• Prepare and maintain professional documents such as unit plans, records of work, course outlines, and class analyses.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Engage learners through interactive activities including storytelling, role plays, and number and letter recognition exercises.
• Display learners’ work in the classroom to celebrate achievements and completed projects.
• Organize educational excursions to expose learners to different environments and experiences.
• Observe learners’ behavior and support positive development through confidence building and teaching social values.
• Support learners with learning differences and behavioral challenges.
• Monitor and update learner progress and prepare reports for parents.

Qualifications and Experience

• PTE (P1) Certificate from KNEC with a minimum grade of B- at O-Level.
• Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• At least 1–2 years of teaching experience.
• Familiarity with the Competency-Based Education (CBC) curriculum.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office computer applications.
