Terminal Clerk
- Our client is looking for a Terminal Clerk to support day-to-day terminal yard operations by ensuring accurate container handling, documentation, compliance, and safety during loading and offloading activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect containers
- Capture container, truck, and seal details
- Support loading and offloading operations
- Assist during verification activities
- Ensure safety and compliance in the yard
- Stack and record container yard positions
- Post container details into the system on time
- Issue loading slips and gate-related documents
- Assist clearing agents during verification
- Log and escalate client complaints
- Report yard incidents promptly
- Tally units against yard records
- Support stuffing and destuffing activities
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field
- Experience in terminal or yard operations is an advantage
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of container handling processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High safety awareness and discipline
PORT CLERK
- Our client is looking for a Port Clerk to support efficient container, unit, and cargo transfers from KPA to ICD while ensuring safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and cite containers, units, and loose cargo for loading
- Inspect cargo for damages and seal integrity before loading
- Ensure cited cargo is loaded, scanned, and exits the port within timelines
- Document cargo damages and issue KPA Equipment Interchange Reports
- Coordinate with transporters on port entry, exit gates, and cargo movement
- Complete and issue accurate delivery notes to transporters
- Ensure all cargo is issued with serialized delivery notes
- Process gate passes for port exit
- Enforce safety standards and safe work practices
- Report all operational incidents promptly
- Ensure compliance with KPA and partner agency regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field
- Experience in port or terminal operations is an advantage
- Knowledge of container, unit, and cargo handling
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and coordination skills
- High safety awareness and discipline
