Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and field-driven Coast Field Coordinator to support the implementation of community programs across the Coast region. The role focuses on field coordination, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring effective delivery of community initiatives in rural and ASAL contexts.

- Contract: 6 Months (Starting July 2026)
- Salary: KES 100,000 (Gross)
- Location: Coast Region (Kilifi, Kwale & Mombasa)
- Availability: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Program Implementation & Coordination
- Coordinate daily implementation of program activities across the region
- Conduct MHS monitoring visits and track learner progress and transitions
- Support learner transitions, including provision of starter kits
- Organize community dialogues, trainings, mentorships, and outreach activities
- Support scholarship processes (interviews, assessments, follow-ups)
- Identify and escalate field risks (safeguarding, security, attendance)
- Engage government stakeholders (MoE, Gender, DCS), schools, and community leaders
- Mobilize learners, parents, facilitators, and partners for program activities
- Represent the organization in county forums and stakeholder engagements
- Strengthen community relationships through continuous engagement
- Coordinate logistics for field activities, trainings, and events
- Support procurement processes (PRFs, quotations, vendor coordination)
- Manage field advances, invoices, and documentation
- Arrange transport, venues, accommodation, and service providers
- Collect and submit accurate field reports
- Support donor reporting, updates, and concept notes
- Document success stories, case studies, and lessons learned
- Support MERL tracking and compliance systems
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in community-based program implementation
- Experience working in ASAL or rural settings is an added advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Salesforce, ERP, or Canva is an advantage
