Project Summary

• Akili Dada is seeking a qualified Facilitator (Teacher) to deliver contextualized literacy, numeracy, civic education, and life skills sessions to girls and young women through the Manyatta Homeschooling Project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct learner assessments and track progress.
• Facilitate weekly literacy, numeracy, entrepreneurship, rights, and life skills sessions.
• Develop lesson plans and schemes of work.
• Prepare weekly and monthly learner progress reports.
• Participate in monitoring, review meetings, and data collection.
• Conduct routine learning and needs assessments.
• Support project documentation and other related activities.
• Adhere to Akili Dada’s safeguarding and girl engagement policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Certificate in Education, ECD, Adult Learning, or related field.
• Understanding of Kinango/Naserian, Kwale County.
• Must be a resident of Kinango Constituency, with easy access to Naserian/Mwereni Ward.
• Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Commitment to gender equality and equity.
