Nurse & Deputy Principal - Discipline

Job Description

1. Nurse

• The Nurse will provide basic nursing care, first aid and emergency response, manage minor illnesses and injuries, maintain confidential medical records, monitor learners with existing health conditions and support health education programmes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Nursing from a recognised institution.
• Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya with a valid practising licence.
• 2–3 years relevant nursing experience, preferably in a community health or similar setting.
• First Aid and Basic Life Support certification is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent health, confidentiality and professional ethics.

2. Deputy Principal (Discipline)

• The Deputy Principal will oversee learner discipline, support the Principal in maintaining a safe learning environment, coordinate guidance and counselling programmes, engage parents on learner welfare, and teach and assess Kiswahili and IRE under the CBC curriculum.

Requirements

• Diploma in Education and Leadership, preferably specialising in Kiswahili and IRE.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and in good standing.
• Knowledge and experience in CBC implementation.
• At least 5 years relevant teaching experience, including 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in handling disciplinary cases and engaging parents or guardians.
• Strong leadership, classroom management and communication skills.
