Job Description
Kesho Kenya is a Kenyan organization working to improve the well-being and livelihoods of communities through health, social development, and community-focused programmes. As a sub-recipient to Amref Health Africa, Kesho Kenya is implementing the Global Fund Tuberculosis Grant Cycle 7 project. Kesho Kenya is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Accountant to support the financial management and accountability of the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain bookkeeping and analyze cashbooks for project transactions.
- Prepare monthly Fund Accountability Statements and bank reconciliations.
- Process payment vouchers with complete supporting documentation.
- Manage imprests, advances, and the fixed asset register.
- Run monthly payroll and process statutory remittances including PAYE, NSSF, and SHIF.
- Compile monthly financial reporting packages for Amref.
- Support budgeting, work planning, and internal and external audit processes.
- Enforce internal controls and a cash-free payment policy.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA or ACCA Part II or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in NGO or donor-funded environments.
- Global Fund experience is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and advanced MS Excel.
- ICPAK membership is an added advantage.
