Senior Associate Engineer

• The Senior Associate Engineer is responsible for maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and availability of data center infrastructure through maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, repairs, surveillance, and coordination of maintenance activities. The role also supports customer service and ensures agreed SLAs are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical data center infrastructure.
• Execute equipment switching, maintenance, repairs, and optimization activities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance projects, contractors, and suppliers.
• Guide junior engineers during maintenance and repair activities.
• Monitor alarms and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, operational procedures, and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, maintenance documentation, MOPs, and Change Requests.
• Monitor site cleanliness, appearance, and operational standards.
• Perform on-call duties and escalate issues that may affect customer SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in operations and maintenance of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, access control, HVAC, and fire detection/suppression systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem analysis, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Good customer communication and service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and service management applications.
• Ability to manage contractors, maintenance activities, incidents, and technical escalations.
