Job Description
North Coast Medical Training College (NCMTC) is a private not-for-profit medical training institution based in Kilifi, offering certificate, diploma, and post-basic diploma programs since 2012. NCMTC is recruiting two Senior Clinical Officers to lead the development and delivery of Higher Diploma programs in Clinical Medicine and Surgery. The initial areas of focus are Reproductive Health (Machakos Campus) and Ophthalmology (Kilifi Campus). This position is co-financed by Comundo, a Swiss NGO.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead development, accreditation, and implementation of Higher Diploma programs
- Provide academic and clinical leadership to staff and students
- Teach, mentor, and supervise trainees
- Coordinate clinical placements and institutional partnerships
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality assurance standards
- Support research, innovation, and program management
Requirements
- Higher Diploma in a relevant clinical specialty
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
- Valid professional registration and practicing license
- Registered TVETA trainer
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience (including 2 years in specialty area)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching, supervision, or clinical instruction
Added Advantage
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience in e-learning and blended learning
